Overview
HAT-style board that centralizes motor control for a printing rig: twelve TMC2209 modules and DRV8833 drivers controlled from an STM32 Nucleo, with an auxiliary ESP32, current sensing and reverse-polarity protection at the input.
Design challenges solved
- Power distribution for 12 axes with buck converters and current monitoring.
- P-MOSFET reverse-polarity input protection.
- Designed for assembly: pluggable driver modules and per-axis cable connectors.
