Overview

USB hub that isolates the connected equipment from the computer: a USB isolator and an isolated DC-DC split both sides. Every port is current-limited; an LFP cell with a charger and an STM32G0 keep devices powered and measure their consumption.

Design challenges solved

  1. Data (ADuM3160) and power (isolated DC-DC) isolation with PCB creepage clearances.
  2. Per-port power switches and energy metering.
