Overview

Flight computer for the Stella Ignis rocketry team. An STM32F411 fuses an IMU, a high-g accelerometer, a magnetometer and a barometer, logs the flight to flash memory, sends LoRa telemetry and fires the recovery channels.

Design challenges solved

1. 8 layers in 50 × 50 mm to separate RF, power and sensors.
2. Buck-boost supply from the battery and a dedicated boost for the pyro channels.
3. 3-channel current monitoring to check continuity and consumption.
